Once again as we look forward to the Christmas season we want to give you and your family some ideas to serve through supporting local ministries by volunteering and through giving gifts that help in practical ways.
These are opportunities with some of our ministry partners in Oakville, Toronto and internationally through CBM . . . as we approach this Christmas, may we share the love of God with someone else in need of encouragement, resources, or just a personal connection. This is a great way we can Serve this year!
King's is partnering with Front line Outreach, kerr street mission and Canadian Baptist Ministries in Lebanon to offer you several opportunities to get connected to serving in our community and beyond. we are also continuing to collect for the King's initiative "gifts of warmth"

- Gift Cards in $25 denominations for teenagers (Walmart, Xbox/Playstation, etc.)
- Gift Cards from Tim Horton's and McDonald's in $10 or more denominations to be included in gift packages

GIFTS OF WARMTH
Collecting donations to purchase wool to make hats and scarves to be distributed to the homeless helping to provide the gift of warmth. Also receiving old 'wool' sweaters which will be repurposed to make mittens and NEW wool socks. Everything can be dropped off at King's and donations can be made by e-transfer - note "Gifts of Warmth"

LEBANON ... True Vine Education Initiative - an opportunity to help a project serving families in Lebanon by partnering with a local church that is providing education for chidren of Syrian refugees. Our goal is to raise $2,000 before the end of 2025 to support this initiative.
