At Kings we aim for youth gatherings that are dynamic, bright and spirited because of our regular encounters with Christ and one another. We don't see ourselves as a separate 'ministry' so much as a part of the multi-generational life of our church. Below are some elements of our regular experience at Kings:

XTREME YOUTH CLASS |  Sunday Morning @10:30 am | Starting September. When we gather with the rest of our church family to participate in worship, fellowship and prayer. You'll find us on the worship teams, helping with set-up, helping with sound tech, helping teach in the toddlers and kids classes, or simply attending the service. If you want to get involved, there are tons of opportunities.  During the sermon those of us in grade 6 - 12 attend our own class (YOUTH CLASS) to hear the Scripture in a way that speaks specifically to us, and to discuss it as a small group.  At least once a month we stay with everyone for the whole service and participate in communion. 

Xtreme is our Friday night gathering for everyone in Grade 6 to Grade 12. We gather weekly to build strong friendships, explore faith, play crazy games and serve our community. EVERYONE is welcome! 

Overflow is our gathering for everyone in Grade 10-12.  Right now we are aiming to gather once a month to hang out, connect about faith and build relationships. Keep your eyes peeled for email updates about where and when we're gathering. 

Serve Opportunities are always happening.  Our church is pretty passionate about being involved in the world, not just through mission trips, but also by getting to know our neighbors and serving those who are close by. We're informed about what is happening around us and we're careful about letting our actions flow out of our relationships.  We try to listen well and let our faith form our response to the need we see in the world. There are always ways to get involved!
